President- Bilvanilay Vakulabharanam
Hi! My name is Bilvanilay Vakulabharanam, but I go by Bil. I am a senior at Hightower High School and I am the president of the Medical Science Academy. An interesting fact about me is that I am a student-athlete who plays football. In addition to sports, I am also a part of HOSA, Debate, and Student Council. One thing I like about Hightower High School is the family atmosphere the students and faculty create, which fosters a welcoming and supportive environment.
Vice President of Activities- Isabella Orlaska
¡Hola! My name is Isabella, and I am a junior that will also serve as your MedSci Academy Vice President. I am also the school lead ambassador. My immediate family is from 5 different countries: the UK, Spain, France, Mexico, and Poland. I look forward to Hightower allowing the opportunity to meet students from different campus backgrounds.
Vice President of Communications- Veda Chinapuvvula
Hello everyone! My name is Veda and I am a rising senior who will serve as your MedSci academy vice president! As far as my hobbies go, I love painting, listening to music, and participating in the money clubs Hightower has to offer. In fact, I have been given the honor of serving as this year’s HOSA Area 2 reporter, and with this position; I hope to grow my passion for medicine! I have many plans for the academy, including more student involvement, exciting fundraisers, and opportunities for inter-district collaboration. I’m looking forward to a great year :)
Director of Communications- Naomi Kurian
Hi, My name is Naomi and I am a sophomore at Hightower High School and also the director of communications for the Medical Science Academy. Furthermore, I am the underclassmen representative for the HHS Red Cross, Vice president of uniforms for the HHS band, a member of Mu Alpha Theta, and more. I love drawing, playing the oboe, and buying necessary things from Amazon. One thing I like about being at Hightower is the diversity and inclusivity of the school. Hightower has a wonderful environment and all kids are warmly welcomed into the Hurricane Family. There are also a wide variety of clubs to choose from and I am sure will appeal to every student's interest. All in all, I am very excited to meet and work with you guys this year!

Hey! My name is Mihir Sekhar and I'm a Junior at Hightower. I'm also the Director of Activities of the MedSci Academy, in addition to being the Vice President of Model UN, the Captain of the HHS Debate Team, Director of Management for the HHS Coalition Against Cancer, and an active participant in HOSA and more! In my free time, I like to listen to music, hang out with friends, and watch Netflix. Something that I like about Hightower is the amazing opportunities and community we have. I look forward to meeting/working with y'all this year!
